In any case, Carswell probably needs cheering up, since the other boys in Parliament have been hiding his homework and calling him names:

It's certainly not going to be a pretty sight, JH; I'm reminded of the research that shows over-crowded rats turning on each other.
ReplyDeleteIn a literal sense, when there are so few seats available that MPs resort to putting out pre-emptive prayer cards like towels on a sunlounger, the atmosphere is hardly conducive to calm and reasoned debate.
