Update

My heartfelt thanks to those who have continued to drop in* since things got rather quiet around here.

A combination of a drastically increased workload, swine flu and a serious attack of blogging fatigue have kept me incommunicado for some months, though I have been regularly reading the output of the tougher souls listed in the sidebar - I doff my tricorn to you one and all for your valiant persistence in the face of society's ills.

Normal service may be resumed in the not-too-distant future...
